I participated in an art show here in Bracebridge called Art in the Heart. We are a designated Arts community...So I showed my paintings and photomanipulations for 3 Saturdays at various locations downtown and I sold 10 pieces!

I will be showing again October 3rd during Colourfest and I will be in Chancery Lane. I sure hope to sell more art because my studio/dining room (hahah yeah) is getting crowded.

I sold Calla Lilly, White Flower, Blue Chair, Murder of Crows, Yellow Door, Compel Me, Strolling, Crow Series IV, Chickadee and Cardinal!!!! And I have one on hold....yeah I very pleased hhehahhaa!

hhaaa wow times goes by so quickly! Seven months since I've been off work, baby is seven months old, it's SPRING!! ...Though we are still getting snow....all week in the forecast....but I will be able to start planing the vegetable garden and enjoy introducing my son to a whole world of first for him. And taking pictures of it all.

Simple pleasures. Like when the wind blows outside and it blows against his face. He grins, laughs like it's a game, as if I am in control of this magic.....awww he is precious.

He is teething....and he doesn't like how it hurts, but he loves how they feel to chew.

My daughter who is 17 loves him and he loves her and their real favourite thing is to cuddle each other! Awwwwww cute.

Why I've not been online and creating artworks...

On September 1st, 2008 my husband and I welcomed our son into the world, weighing 8 lbs 12 ounces! We named him Alessandro.

I had c-section and all went well! I am off work for a year and hope to start creating soon as my son and I get on a schedule.

How life goes...

Well, it has been an interesting couple of weeks for me. I've been off work sick, but while resting I've had time to do some art, which makes me really happy. Even though some things have been tough for me lately I've recently had some good news...
...ready for it....I won 2nd place in CANADA for my editorial cartoons for our class of newspapers!!! Oh my goodness!!! I think it's the BEST news LOL hahahahahahahahaha

How life goes...

...well I finally got my custom built Dell (yeah PC user here) laptop delivered and installed my CS package! I love it!!!! I can't wait to have more time to use it. OMG you have no idea how I love taking it to town where there is highspeed interent!!! Example: updates here at home on dialup said 9-20 hours....in town on highspeed 1 minute!
